EDGAR H. GANS received his AB degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his LLB degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. He served in the Maryland National Guard during 1964-1971. From 1967-1998 he was with the prominent Maryland law firm of Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP. He served on the firm executive committee as managing partner and head of the commercial law section. From 1998 until joining this law firm in 2005 he engaged in litigation and represented financial institutions including Provident Bank, Key Bank & Trust, 1st Mariner Bank, Citizens National Bank and Mercantile Bank, specializing in commercial transactions and litigation, insurance litigation, bankruptcy and corporate law. Mr. Gans serves as, of counsel, to the firm.
